Had 3 boys from SA come over today. Marco has flown over 3 times now, this time Brent and Alex joined him.
Marco has pulled 230kg at PTC before, but he has been stuck on 237.5kg on PPP. His form had slipped, the bar was drifting out a bit.
He pulled 245kg today.
His mate Brent missed 200kg the last 2 times he tried. Today he got 210kg.
Alex is a strange one. He rolled up with a belt and wraps, he only ever trains with them. He pulled 200kg with them on, then after some shit stirring, he took them off. He refused to try mixed grip, and missed 200kg.
After a little heart to heart, he tried again. He finished with 241kg, no belt, no wraps, no worries. A changed man.
Nick and Spiros also pulled 220kg, both slowly getting back into it. Nick bought a mate Connor with him, he has won a handful of State BMX titles.
He has only used 150kg for reps before. Today he pulled the easiest 220kg in the gym, by far. I made him stop there.
Also training in the gym today was Max, Gareth, Ryan and Steve, theyve all pulled 200kg.
Only Minh, Harvey and Dim training today hadnt pulled 200kg.
