if i ride to work (50km/1:30 each way), 5 - 2x extra carb based meals or i don't make it home without "bonking". i could probably skip lunch on riding days and survive on 4, but it wouldn't really fit in with my work schedule and i'd probably be feeling pretty flat on the bike on the way home.
I just eat 3 main meals, sometimes 4 if I'm really hungry. Mostly I eat the same cals every day roughly anyway. I am used to eating big meals so I feel to hungry eating small meals more often, and eating mainly 3 times a day has not affected my fat loss any. Although I have stopped loosing for now as I want to concentrate on mass until mid next year and than I will concentrate on more fat loss again. I eat around 3500 cals a day, when i try to loose fat I cut it down to around 2800 a day, but I eat the same foods, just less.
