Me again ;-)

I posted a few months ago regarding a revisit to the old day of me bodybuilding (1990's)...

In Sept 2013 I was 110 + KG, unfit, unmotivated 50 year old...

Since then... I dropped to 92 kg through healthy clean eating, cardio and some resistance. About 6 weeks ago... I started getting serious in the gym with heavy and intense lifting (not as intense as I would like) and taking the following supps:

5gm AAKG
5mg BCAA
2mg Carnetine
5mg Glutamine
5mg Creatine
2mg CLA
up to 200-250 gm protein a day (50% shake 50% whole protein)

Now.... I started out about 30% BF @ 112kg
Dropped to around 20% at 91kg

Now.... I am 17% and weirdly... back to 98kg.

I have noticed that the following has disappeared:

  • Back Titties
  • Love Handles
  • My three chins
  • Moobs have havles and toned

I have also noticed:

  • Chest has hardened
  • Legs have got definition (three heads seen)
  • Biceps are bigger as well as somewhat defined tri's
  • LOTS more arm and leg vasculature.
What I want to know... is this the start of a "Body Recomp" ?....

The other question is.... should I keep eating slight (aprox 1400-1600 cals) or should I start to eat to bulk ?

I competed ion the nineties... did really well... and then let it go. It;s time to get back on the iron and compete again.

I want to compete in Maters in 2015 (May 2015 NABBA Comp)

Any comments welcome

Cheers

If you're getting the results you want then don't change anything
Basically your body is shifting back to how it used to look, comebacks are always good like this

Getting lean would be a good priority but of course you already know this
Just do what you did in the 90's, it obviously worked for you

Pic of me in the 90's.... sorry about the quality... it was taken off the video...

Bravo

drop all your supplements, besides creatine. pick up some caffeine tablets for a pre workout if you must. glutamine is useless lol. keen protein if you want

as oni said, drop down to a desirable bodyfat, and then move up from there

damn you had some good legs.

Heres another one ....(the last photo I promise)

Thanks for the great advice so far... much appreciated
