yep vic has the roundabout indication law too , but no one uses it not even the cops ,
we also have the mobile phone laws
I get the impression that it's not policed up here in Qld.
A friend of mine was escorted by the police to the transport department when his rego was expired. He taught me how to indicate on roundabouts and basically he just indicated as you should - nothing beyond what is required by the road rules - and the cop actually commented on how well he indicated.
Anyway I don't think it's a revenue raiser - poor indication on roundabouts is dangerous.
1. Left indicator if going left, no indicator if going straight, right indicator if going right.
2. From the moment you pass the exit before the exit you are using, you should have your left indicator on.

There you go, looked it up. In Victoria indicate left on roundabout exit is a new rule from 2009. That explains why I hadn't heard or been tested on it.
yep, I believe the new roadrule went Australiawide at that time too.
But they don't enforce it. Although it will probably be me who gets fined for not doing it someday soon lol
It's great I'm just hearing about 2009 road rules now. Lol.
