This is Kenna S., She's one of P90x's biggest success stories. Kenna started the program after she had her son. Not only wasn't she losing her pregnancy weight, she was gaining more.

She turned to P90x in desperation. And her dedication to the program paid off. She lost an impressive 80lbs. by the end of her journey.

She says that the 90 day program gave her a long-lasting metabolic boost: "I have a metabolism that burns like crazy from eating every 2.5-3 hours and going by the nutrition guide sent with the programs. I’m just proud that I stuck with it and got those 80 lbs. off.”

P90x is one of the world's most popular exercise programs. People love P90x because of its intensity levels. Anyone who takes the challenge is pushed to the limit. And they're rewarded with results.

Those results are all over the web. P90x before and after pictures are everywhere. And who can blame them? These are results you want to share with the world. They've helped make this one of the first viral workout programs on the web.

Want to look like these after photos? Be prepared to invest. The P90x program is Beachbody's most expensive. And there's a considerable amount of equipment to buy.

The workouts are also quite long. The shortest workout is one hour long. The longest workout is 90 minutes. If you're busy you'll have to do a lot of squeezing to fit it into your schedule.

Not everyone on the P90x program has the same results. That's because the regimen itself is highly flexible.

Everyone's schedule is different. Those with less time to devote to the program choose a less rigorous routine.

The diet is also flexible. Some participants combine the program with Shakeology. This meal-replacement program is also made by Beachbody. Together, they produce increased results.

Most of these before and after pictures come from Challenge groups. P90x users join Challenge groups to help their progress. Most groups meet online.

The groups compare daily and weekly results. Some even pool together funds for the Challenge winner. Whoever uses the most calories and inches wins. It's a great motivational tool. You can tell by the great pictures these groups produce.

Not all before and after photos are from P90x alone. Jhomil Bansil here did two rounds of 90-day regimens. He started with the Power 90 workout, also by Beachbody. He followed with P90x paired with Shakeology.

The one-two punch really drove home the results. Mr. Bansil lost 43lbs. with the Power 90 workout. He followed that with a 30lb. loss with P90x. That's nearly 80lbs. in 6 months.

Remember Jonah Hill's dramatic weight loss? It was thanks to P90x. Jonah didn't take any shirtless pictures but he improved all the same. Jonah was tuned in to P90x by Ben Stiller who was working the program at the time.

Jonah focused on the physical aspects of the regimen. Instead of following its meal plan, he employed a nutritionist. His professional help and commitment paid off. Jonah looks great and he's kept it off.

The P90x regimen is more than a workout plan. For optimal results, participants also change their diet. The nutrition consists of three phases. The first phase pushes high-protein foods and lowers carbohydrates. The second phase reintroduces carbohydrates into the diet. The third phase brings carbohydrates up to a normal level.

The changing diet keeps your metabolism burning. By taking carbs away and then reintroducing them, it prepares participants to get back to their normal diet once the program is over.

P90x is not for beginners. This high-intensity workout is tough even for the pros. It's designed to take your existing workout to the next level. Those just getting off the couch likely won't have what it takes. However, those that are already in shape -- if not in peak shape -- can give it a try. The workout comes with plenty of modifications. Anyone in shape can struggle through. By the end of the program, they'll be closer to peak condition.

P90x has a cult-like following. Most of that is thanks to the success stories. The P90x infommercials use a lot of photos like these. Pictures and raw footage are the best proof that this program is about results.

This honesty in advertising won the "P90x: The Proof" infomercial a Telly award in 2009. In 2010, the "P90x: The Answer" infomercial won a movie award. Customers have applauded P90x's honesty as well. The program boasts over $500 million in sales.

The P90x regimen has been around since 2004. It was invented by fitness guru Tony Horton, Jr. The fitness program was designed for people who were already fit.

This demographic needed an intense workout to improve on their already fit bodies. Tony researched the program for two years. He consulted with fitness experts from a wide variety of fields. The result was a killer 90-day, 12 workout program. Today, athletes and amateurs enjoy the benefits of Tony's research.

This is Tom. His before and after photos show P90x's muscle-building results. This definition is thanks to the crossfit training involved in the program. The regimen combines weight training, martial arts, yoga and calisthenics.

Switching up the exercise program consistently causes "muscle confusion". This prevents the body from adapting to the workout. Confused muscles burn more and build faster. The variety in the P90x regimen is credited for its success.

The P90x routine does more than tone. Participants lose a lot of weight. And they have the most dramatic before-and-after photos.

This woman lost 23 pounds in just 90 days. She also shed an impressive 40 inches. But these results aren't from P90x alone. She combined the workout regimen with the Shakeology detox program. In fact, a lot of participants combine P90x with other programs to maximize their short-term results.

The P90x program takes commitment. The regiment is 90 days long. Want the results you see in the P90x before and after pictures? You have to work out 6 days per week. That's a lot of sweat and burn.

P90x is no magic pill. It is an effective guide for people who are committed to their workout. Follow the instructions and you too can see these results.

This is Nicole from the blog Fitness Fatale. She finished the P90x program while training for a marathon. She looks great. And now she uses her blog to guide other P90x users through the program.

Results like this take a lot of commitment. Nicole lost a total of 11 pounds. She also trimmed six inches off of her figure. Results like these are what keep P90x users coming back.

Just a gimmick...

Run calorie deficit with weight training... Suprise suprise..

Cost 120 bucks... Plus extras...

I agree that it's a gimmick, but it teaches good nutrition and gets people moving. A lot better than some of those ab machine gimmicks lol

I've done it. Followed regular IIFYM style cal deficit diet, increased muscular endurance and lost a bit of fat. Was not strong but pretty strong for my size. Most of the strength workouts are for AMRAP in 1min and then short rest break. The other stuff is basically HIIT.

Basically, if you do an hour of training a day (minimum) with a lot of it being HIIT style, you'd have to eat pretty bloody badly to put on weight.

I can confirm that I can out eat any calorie burn...:D

all the photo's break the rule of same camera before/after (no skinny lens in after like above)

same distance, same size, same pose.

regardless, nice advertising admin :p

re cals: no doubting that but as the target market of P90x is generally weight loss it is likely that they would not be attempting to do so :)
