PROs & CONs being at the gym.

Haha and right there are several more reasons I train at home

Pros.
Team environment
Capable spotters
All of the equipment
Capabale observers.

Cons.
Cost
Travel.
TRAVEL.

If i was at a commercial gym, it would probably be a very different list. The smells etc dont bother me, its a fucking gym, not a beauty salon(though sometime I do wonder).

I seriously hardly notice anything when im training hard.
Maybe a comm gym is different to ptc, but we generally dont have any of those problems mentioned above to be honest.

I would generally think there would be more sweaty fuckers in a commercial gym, with all the cardio and crap.

I train in the morning,
usually only about 4 or 5 people in the gym,
heaps of free equipment
its on the way to work
free'd up space at home where my old rack was.
its only 500 a year
don't get annoyed by the family during training
music is crap, but I have an ipod .

Yeah for sure mate. We have guys do a tonne of conditioning...but then they usually leave so we dont suffer ha.

Another con id go with actually is training in summer...in what is basically a warehouse... with no more ventilation than an open roller door. Lol.
