When you use the leg-press,
1. make sure your feet are pushing at the same angle as the sled, in your case- you should have placed your feet higher, Where there is no movement or minimal at the ankle
2. No bouncing or locking your knees at the end of the movement, locking the knee joint transfers the weight from the leg to the hip, which is not good and reduces the efficiency of the exercise.
3. The negative portion of the exercise is critical, maintain control of the weight by moving twice as slow as the positive portion.
2 seconds up, 4 seconds down.
It's not about the weight moved, it's about working or stimulating the muscles, the leg press is a great exercise.
It's a big bastard too.
It looks like you can you separate the foots plates?
