Skipping breakfast may actually be good for you

^ bingo ^

Skipped breakfast this morning.. now I am bloody hungry and can't concentrate

Work your way up to it....

Once adapted its very easy to maintain....

And be certain to count calories and smash the foods at dinner to hit daily intake..

When you eat any meal you have an insulin spike. Better stop eating all together if you want to avoid insulin spikes.

Youve made your point clear Baz , no swaying you thats for sure .

If only you could explain away the 2 different results from eating the same meal in Catalysts gut reaction ?.

Or eat LCHF which blunts your insulin response permanently. Better yet consume a Bullet Proof coffee and never suffer from an insulin spike again

Protein will spike insulin. So yes even on low carb you will get still Insulin spikes. High amounts of fat can cause sustained elevated blood glucose which can decrease insulin sensitivity.

Nothing special about bulletproof coffee apart from a fancy name that people fall for.

Sure it will raise insulin but eggs and bacon will raise insulin a lot less than a big old bowl of oats.

So what. Your worrying about the wrong things anyway. Insulin is extremely anabolic. You want insulin to grow muscle. A quick and easy way to tell if you are having issues is are you a fat fuck, no? Then don't worry about insulin.

I've got to lower bodyfat% since I have been worrying about it. Might not be for everyone but it works for me, intermittent fasting and LCHF ftw
