What are you saying, that your against split routines in general?
like.I've often wondered why body part workouts even exist.
I've often wondered why body part workouts even exist.
Alright i've always wondered, why do i always see every idiot doing the same split routine which always consists of back and bi's and chest and shoulders or chest and tri's.
What person could honestly think you will get the full benefits of a split if your going to train the main muscle which uses a secondary muscle that your going to train next up. Everybody knows that shoulders are used while working chest so usually on a split routine shoulders would be just as fatigued as chest, why do people always train shoulders after chest why don't they put it in a different day? I know its probably a stupid question but FUCK its annoying me that its so widely advertised as a split routine, all the noobs some how get onto this.
Is there any reason why people do this or is everyone just fucking idiots lol
There's nothing wrong with training chest/tri or back/bi etc. Sam, particularly if you're an experienced lifter who can train with focused intensity but that's not to say that it's the only or best way to split a routine.
If you can train with intensity and target a particular muscle ie pecs then you can minimize the use of the assistant muscle, in this case the tris and then do the same while training the tris, you have efficiently trashed both in the same workout and then give them plenty off rest until their next workout, in my case I generally train each muscle group every 5 days, the key here is intensity.
Whatever split you use, don't just do the same one continually, mix it occasionally to stimulate them in different ways.
As opposed to full body wingy?I've often wondered why body part workouts even exist.
As opposed to full body wingy?
There's no way I could lift with same intensity doing a full body workout, not to mention I'd be doubling my time spent in the gym.
Who cares what other people are doing lol.
Any program will give you some sort of results if you stick to it (for beginners especially). If they're training consistently good for them.
For a beginner that may be something to consider since it's safe to say that they won't be lifting as efficiently, which is one of the reasons a beginner can get away with lifting more often to start with.I understand this only when one has enough training experience to be able to completely isolate the muscle. The thing that gets to me is that theres so many beginners doing this style of workout. If they are going to isolate wouldn't it be more beneficial for them to at least use different muscles in different days instead of using primary and secondary muscle in the same day?

I honestly don't even take notice of the splits that anybody else does. Also i don't understand how it could annoy you, I love it that people do different splits to me as it means they are less likely to use the same equipment.
