13th December is the competition
I will maybe break the all time Australian beltless u75kg record and the all time Australian u75kg junior (23 and under) record

Still far off a (real) world record. Don't care about some shitty gpc/capo record, they are not real records if someone else has done more

I hold the current record for all time 87.5kg - 87.7kg slightly hungry men over the age of 36 who wore blue undies on the day but forgot to bring deadlift socks.

No ****s is taking that from me.

The Junior record would be the better one clearly. I thought that the comment about being far off a real record made this clear, but apparently people ignored this entirely

I just mean there shouldn't be a distinction between belt and no belt in records, it's like splitting the records into how many plys a person was wearing in a multiply fed :p
 
Did an iodine test today, looks like my thyroid has been playing up again.
For those that don't know, I had issues with an overactive thyroid which was dealt with. I suspect that hard dieting has made it swing the other way. Getting some bloods done to know for sure.

If T3 is the issue it would explain why I am feeling very lethargic and weak in the legs. I've stopped all stimulant use and eating a diet high in tyrosine to get my neurotransmitter levels back up as high as possible. Supplementing with B6 and B12 to really push dopamine up as much as I can and drinking a lot of white tea high in theanine.

I also consulted with Jamie and he suggested that I increase my calories and do more metabolically intense training. I'm doing a meet in like 10 days, so that will have to wait until after the meet but I am increasing my calories across the board
 
Are you low or high in iodine? Without iodine the thyroid won't function properly as both the transmitter, receptor and T3 molecules require it.

I switched to an iodized salt
but then if the thyroid is overactive, the iodine might be being used up and then the thyroid will crash
so I need the blood tests really
 
When I stew drumsticks they are very tasty indeed. I will not be baking them.
I used chicken stock, added some chilli powder, crushed chillies, ginger and garlic and then some salt if anyone is interested. Gives it a Vietnamese flavour

When you're dieting, do you include carb refeeds once or twice per week? Do you take full diet breaks, and eat at maintenance for a couple of weeks to get your hormones back up a little bit?
