don't really follow Bodybuilding close enough to make predictions but wouldn't Big Ramy be an outsider due to symmetry (ie. thighs far outweigh calves) and lacks detail, Kai Greene needs to get taller to be Mr O and Phil Heath doesn't have the natural shoulder width of the greats Arnold, Haney and Coleman.

Anyone who has to shag grapefruits to earn a buck deserves some sympathy votes though.

Well Big Ramy fckn dwarfs even Phil with sheer size. Admitedly he will need to absolutely nail his conditioning. Who's to say he won't?

so is Big Ramy the bookies favourite?

Yeah in those comparisions Ramy looks good. Like I said I don't think Heath is unbeatable.

Why is the USA represented so much? Surely there is some decent European/non yanks that would stand a chance?

At this stage I would be going

Phil
Jay
Kai

Will be interesting to see how Jay comes in after a year off, but he does know how to prep for the O and has the track record, even if he isn't the reigning champ...
