FINE POWDERED OATS - 1KG Just bought myself 12 kilos of this shit, im gonna use it in the morning instead of my normal meal of tuna and white patatoes cause its taking me way to long to cook and eat it.
There has been a few recipes of protein powder and oat pancakes. Personally I've never tried that, just used the good old shake and make pancake mix (gluten free for me of course) and added some protein powder to it. Chocolate protein pancakes = profit!
I have a $19.95 blender from Big W blends them up in seconds to a fine powder, but $5.50 is not too bad if you buy in bulk.
You need to shake the blender, if you just let it sit there, it will just blend the bit around the blades, mine blends best when held at a 45 degree angle, as it creates a whirl wind of oat powder

I make my own powdered oats using a food processor. ( larger blade and bowl )
Put half a kilo in there n blend it all up, then the other half.
The possibilities are then endless when it comes to shakes.
Today I had a scoop of oats + a scoop of protein + 200g yoghurt and heaps of raspberries.
It turned out like a thick raspberry smoothie, awesome flavour and texture.
I add some water to the shakes or else it just won't mix.
