beginning a fitness routine you don't really need to buy expensive equipment. Many items arounds the house can be used for a starters exercise routine. For example, a large toolbox sitting in the back corner of the garage collecting dust will double as a handy step exerciser.
  • Work your exercise routine around your daily schedule, whether it's before work or before bedtime. Time is not the issue your body doesn't care what time you work out as long as you excercise.
  • A good starting time 20 to 45 minutes a day, two or three days a week Start off smal and gradually work your way up
  • Keep your workout fun don't think of it as a daily chore Thinking like this your regular exercise will become part of your daily routine.
  • Before starting any exercise program consult your doctor first.
  • Choose a comfortable place in the house like soft carpet or grass.
  • Always stretch before Starting any exercise routine.
  • light jogging in one place is a good starting point, then move onto a stepping exercises.using the toolbox example.
  • Work your abdominal muscles with two sets of 15 sit-ups
  • Soup cans make good replacment fr light weight training.
  • use the soup cans for squats exercising the legs and lower body.
