I think he has an advantage cos the bar is almost at his knee before all the plates leave the ground lol

From my experience its a disadvantage....you almost have to pull it twice in a way :S

My first nats my final week was 310x2 and we used 20's and 25's.....i pulled it off the floor and it almost felt like it got stuck once the end plates had to be pulled. Im assuming thats a texas bar aswell so its a bit more bendy than an Elieko so IPF wouldnt have that issue :S

yeah i prefer the stiffer bar for deadlifts.
