With dumbbell shoulder presses how far should i come down ?. I've been told that on the down motion not to go past parallel, butit has be wondering is that enough range to properly work the muscle? I just want to make sure I'm getting the full benefit of the exercise.

in a dumbbell press , Bring the the dumbells down to touch the shoulders
Military and smith press, the barbell comes down to the top of the chest

i usually go ear leve with shoulder d/b press, although i cant lift as much i feel it working my shoulders alot more and obtain an excellent pump. opposed to lifting and heavy and moving restricted.
