'Pole dancing', which has its origins in seedy male sex clubs, will debut at the 2014 Arnold Sports Festival in Ohio, adding insult to injury for the Female Bodybuilders whose sport has been axed.

Of course it is called 'Pole Fitness' at the Arnold (and it can be an incredibly tough discipline). But for many of the serious female bodybuilders who won't be on stage in 2014, the addition of the event seems to further emphasise the message that bodybuilding is for the men – and that the women are there primarily for decoration.
An official release reads: “The Arnold Sports Festival, the largest multi-sport event in the nation, will add several new sports – including the Arnold Classic 212 division for professional men’s bodybuilders and a national championship for pole fitness.

Was alright for the men to load up drugs, but now less tolerant of what happened to women who did the same.

Truth is the men, including the great man Arnold, are just as unnatural as the women.
They would never look like they do without PEDs.

Not that I care about them, but I would be pissed if i was a top female bb.

That's a bit hypocritical to axe the women's bodybuilding. If the use of drugs is a concern then test the competitors..

Yes they look like men, but I do feel sorry for female body builders/Lifters who when they attend a gym actually "LIFT" heavy things and have a go.

I recently joined Instagram and the amount of crap and shit on that, just because you drink protein powder and have a GYM membership does not entitle you to #chickswholift #stronggirl etc etc.
 
what a terrible decision considering the Arnold is one of the biggest BBing events on the IFBB Calendar and to be replaced with pole dancing in the biggest insult of all.
