In a pickle..advice needed.

Bloody oath he is!
I think you're going great guns, will have more of an issue deciding whether to go with the leopard print or tiger striped g banger ;)

Nice Roadie, been thinking about getting one but don't think I would get the use to justify the cost.....

Do it. I picked up this on gumtree for $450 nearly brand new I think it retailed for over $1000. Its the accessories that can get pretty pricey. shoes pedals lycra helmet etc. Heaps of fun and it sure beats pounding the pavement running.

Yeah I am hearing you, I already have a S-Works mountain bike, so that gets used as much as I can, which is why I don't know if a roadie would get the use, not really keen on riding the roads around Melbourne, but a second class ride is sure better then a first class run in my books.

Yeah I've got both too, glad I switch to the roadie for the road. MTB was hard work and took longer.

Bike riders and car drivers in Melb are as bad as one another!

I lost my licence and road to work in Melbourne for about 6 months, people drove so close I lost count of the amount of times I got brushed up against by cars. Also having ridden motorcycles on the road in Melbs that was pretty bad too. Its a perpetual cycle of hate between cars and bikes. Bikes hate cars for not giving room and cars hate bikes for taking up too much room.
Not sure about Melbs but QLD just bought in a law that you have to give a rider 1m gap, we're even allowed to cross double lines to do so.

I guy I work with got a fine under that new rule near Kelvin grove. Problem was he was parked at the traffic lights and the cyclist came in between him and the gutter/curb side. When he took off he had no room and the on coming cops booked him.

That's f@king retarded..

Cyclist must keep 2m distance from the rear of another vehicle but ok to split lanes.

Well Saturday night went off with a bang!!

NOT!!! Right at the last minute they cancelled. One of the girls Mums organised a surprise stripper so they rang and cancelled due to time restraints as they were going out as well..oh well. They were very apologetic. The first thing I thought was ha wait till I have to tell the boys on ausbb..

I ended up staying at home looking after my boys while wifey went out..ha

It was a good experiment none the less.

Total weight loss aprox 84.5kg to 83.1kg = 1.4kg
