Finally got around to fitting a new handle to my axe. The first 2 handles I got weren't the right size/shape. Then I got the right one and didn't have a rasp to shape it.
Made a massive mess, took ages but got it done and it's a beast. The handle probably cost more than the axe head is worth (I assume it's cheap chinese shit). I probably should have just bought a second fiskars but now I can add changing an axe handle to the list of shit I've done that men are meant to know how to do.
Also finally got around to testing dubbin on an old set of boots. I'll see how it turns out before I put it on my work boots, got horse hair everywhere so I guess buying the first boot brush you see isn't the best idea unless I missed a step of breaking in a new brush or something.
