Definitely, I'm looking for all the weight I can find at the moment for cheap. The home gym is pretty dam expensive to setup but it's a good long term investment. I can't see myself ever wanting to stop lifting. So take it with me wherever I go!
I sold my hunk of crap Multistation home gym yesterday as well, along with a junky orbit bench. So glad to see the end of them lol. Worst investments ever.
Thanks I got the oly weights for 750. it has 5 20's, 3 25's and 1 15.. so the spare ones aren't really use able.... so 342 kilos are use able, not 402. I still think I found a good deal though.
I'll try and make use out of the left overs, not sure how. Maybe I'll pick up another 25 and 20, but I don't know where I can get the same brand plates, though I doubt that really matters. weight is weight.
Theres a few nice setups here, bit of cash invested. Your right weight is weight, I have had to use old brake discs, flywheels and buckets full of water and things in the garage before I got a good deal on some more weight.
My home setup is fairly basic, power rack with pulleys, bench, 200+kg of weight, few different bars and DB's, and inch thick rubber mats covering the garage (only single garage at this house), but it all does the job. Ill snap a pic and post it later

Sounds basically identical to mine. Would be nice if I had a double garage. It gets a bit tight easing past the resting bar to move to the front or back of the rack. I haven't yet walked into it, but it'll no doubt happen one day.
For home gym'ers who do tire/sled/prowler-flipping/dragging/pushing, what's your rig like?
My training partner and I just put together Tire3.0 which consists of an eyebolt through a truck tire with a short-rope and homemade handles. I'll get a pick this arvo and post it.
Im going to have to tell wayne to put an "X-rated" sticker on his parcels from now on. This bar is porn!
Look forward to smashing some PBs with this bad boy.
