Now I know some people see crossfit and their minds straight away go to horrible technique blah blah. I'm just curious as a lot of you guys are competitive pl'ers - what is your opinion of crossift? Is it worthwhile? Is it a crock?
Now while crossfit isn't bringing anything too groundbreaking to the health and fitness industry it does package weight training and strong compound movements in a new way that makes it appealing to a broader audience, so that's gotta be good right?
As for their fitness levels compared to PL'ers you just have to look at the ProRaw rep challenge a while ago where Amy (forgot last name?) cleaned up - now granted she is at an elite level in crossfit as well but the point remains.
So how do you feel about it? Have you ever tried any of the benchmark workouts or WODs? Have you seen people do them and thought forget that...?
