Unload about 50kgs off one end of the bar, watch the bar tip up and smash shit everywhere
this happened to me when i first hit the gym , here i was shy and intimated by all the huge blokes in the gym , for awhile i stayed to the edge of the gym not daring to enter the freeweights areaUnload about 50kgs off one end of the bar, watch the bar tip up and smash shit everywhere
got stuck under the 45 leg press , got distracted and lost my focus, it came crashing down , didn't have enough to throw the stoppers in place , had to crawl out , lucky the gym was empty
it was when i was new the gym , it was bad enough that i was lacking confidence and was intimated by others in the gym , the last thing i wanted was to draw attention to myselfDon't be embarrassed, personally I think not being afraid to fail is such a good trait. When most people will rack their bench, I'll try one more even if I'm not confident I can re rack it, just because it feels like you push so much harder when you know you might drop it and be pinned under until someone helps you.
