Preparing for a lift

I'm not talking pre-lift rituals, wearing certain things etc but address that if you would like to as well.

Do any of you have a distinct set-up pattern that you use for every lift, for example with the DL, do you step up to the barbell in the same manner each time, same foot first, grab the barbell with the same hand first each time etc?

I get butterflies thinking about each lift, whether I'll be able to make it or at least meet my expectations for the number of reps involved. I psych myself up and visualise actually going through the lift and all the mental cues to ensure my form will be as good as I can possibly get it. Never ever think about girls or porn otherwise you get a raging hardon and all that blood thats meant to give you da pumpz has deserted you and gone elsewhere.

Set up the same for every single exercise - I dont think about doing it - I just do it - f**king weird

NO ejeculation at least 2 hours prior any lifts.

This one is bench specific, do all my psyching up in the sitting position, then I drop, grip, unhook and start to bench ASAP after dropping back.

only really talk myself up and visualise going through the lift when my squats and deadlifts get heavy, everything else i just lift......
