Hi i started kickboxing about 3 months ago and incase some of you didnt know its pretty cardio intensive anyways i was just wanting to know if doing kickboxing 3 times a week (monday tuesday and thursday) could interfere in anyway if i was to pursue bodybuilding Usual kickboxing exercises are skipping 10 mins max pushups, dips, squats, sit ups and Various other ab workouts cheers in advance

My opinion is that I think kickboxing would complement weightlifting.. just be careful not to overdo it with all the physical activity because weightlifting would have to be two - three times a week. Have at least one or two days off a week to do stretching exercises/yoga/pilates or swimming.. or stuff that's low key but will keep you fit.. even if we all know that yoga is only for gay men.

;)

up your calorie intake, get a lot of protein
be sure to give your body time to recover after kickboxing and before bodybuilding
make sure that you don't overtrain. know your limits and if needed take a few days break to recoup
