Dueing last years Tour de France cyclist Andy Schleck posted this pic of the food each rider in their team eats a day during a day in the TDF.

hmmm he never took pics of the beer. i know they used to drink beer to carb up at night too!

they generally eat around 6K - 8k kcals every day.

most of them are not big guys remember. That's the range some riders were quoting in an interview about what they consumed last year. That's where I heard the beer story

That does surprise me then. Its not really a lot of food for the amount of work they are doing.

they seem to drink half of it in sugar.
