I'm getting all my info about this exercise from that YouTube guy Scooby. Is what he says right? I have found out that sometimes the internet doesn't give a full picture of what's going on.
Also where in your program should this sit if your doing full body? I have been running by the theory of the biggest muscles to the smallest I.e. squats first then deadlifts then rows then military press etc. Would bench press go after rows or after military press.
For this exercise to be effective one needs to engage the muscles of the upper back, to do this your upper body needs to be almost perpendicular to the legs.
Most stand upright and adopt an upright row movement.
You need to. Visualize the resistance is behind the elbow, your hand is the hook your forearm is the chain. Posted via Mobile Device
