I'm gonna move from my bro split of chest/arms/legs/back to what I think is the smarter split of push/pull/legs. This is what I've come up with lemme know where to change.
1: dumbbell press 4x8
2: incline bench 3x8
3: flies 4x8
4a: shoulder press 4x8

I'm 40 year old male recently getting into strength training, I don't want to get massive, I just want to get some more muscle mass, fix my poor posture and basically just get fitter and stronger so I can do sports for longer and better
I generally don't like gyms or gym workouts but.....
given all the excitement about supposed 'great' exercises like deadlift, what are your favorites exercises for each muscle groups that you would do for bodybuilding purposes.

Fairly new here but I do have a question.
I started a "10 week transformation" exactly 4 weeks ago @79.4 kg , so far i've sat on about 80kg the entire time and now dropped down to 79.5, i still seem to however be retaining a lot of the fat around my torso (this is usually...
Which exercises and techniques do you use to balance out your anterior and posterior shoulders/delts?
Too many dudes focus on the anterior (eg presses, flyes), not enough on the posterior (eg rows, reverse flyes).
What lengths do YOU go to to ensure your shoulder gets worked out evenly across...
So we have been dis-cussing how useful the eccentric part of the rep is for most exercises. By most I mean exercises that primarily move single joints and definitely some compounds too.
On the other side of the coin I am sure there are a few exercises where slow eccentrics would not be...
