What is the difference in Muscle building and Strength building? I always thought that they were the same thing
 
You can gain strength and not increase muscle size by manipulating your diet and physical activities.

To build muscle though, you need to consume more calories than you expend.
 
Strength trainer use a different training protocol mainly based around 1rm where muscle builders train for muscle hypertrophy usually around the 6-15 rep ranges although some guys will go higher or lower at times.
