Yet another "buying a home gym setup" thread

Ahh yep, after seeing that photo I know exactly where it is.
yeah lol pretty hard to miss it lol
where abouts u live?? if your near by you should come down and check it out, gingerbread (on the forum) and i are there 99% of the time on mon(benching), wed(squatting), sat(deadlifting), there's a bunch of us there training for powerlifting, and a fair few guys come in and do training for like mma, not 100% sure on what they do though or if they have different times they go in, we train there from 7pm on mons and weds, and 11am on sat (not sure if dan has other times people train)

@ wingnut, i got no idea, port has told me a few times but that sort of stuff doesnt like to sink in lol

Well, what I ended up going with in the end:
MMPR w/ dip attachment (not commercial, due to a) there unavailability and b) length concerns - which may not have been a problem in the end, but this rack fits and should last me many years)
Commercial Flat Bench
130kgs of bumpers (4x20, 2x15, 2x10 and some fractional plates)
Flooring

I'll add some pictures to the pictures thread when I clear some of the cardboard boxes away :-(

Go the commercial one, you won't be disappointed. Get the flat commercial MM bench as well (I have it) because it is a sturdy, wide, and practical piece of equipment to own.

If money is no worry, there is other racks that are good, I like the Matrix single cell from Iron Edge (pricey though) and its 4mm thick, even stronger.

For similar money there is Rouge power racks, can't give them a wrap as I have never seen one in the flesh, but they are supposed to be good.

At the end of the day, MM racks are of good quality with plenty of strong mofo's from this site that own them and use them. Can't really give them a better wrap than that.

When you get your shit, post pics for the drool factor lol. :p

Mother of god!!!!

That commercial rack looks awesome!!!
