    pullups 4x10 way of progression

    my routine states that I should do 4 sets 10 reps of weighted pullups. for now my max is (only bodyweight): 9 reps, 7 reps, 5 reps, 5 reps so should I wait and try to add reps each workout till I get all 10, 10, 10, 10 and then start to adding weight and get sth like 10, 9, 8, 7 and next...

    When should I start adding kg's to the dumbbells?

    I've been working out for about three weeks now and started with 3 kg's per dumbbell (not all that much , but i'm nopt that strong ). And I do two sets of ten reps for each exercise I do. when and how will I know that I need to start addinging more weight onto the dumbbells (or even barbells)?
