    Lifting light weight but ultra slow

    I have read and seen some body builders advocate lifting light but ultra slow reps. Has anyone done this? Does it work or s it a gimmik?

    Heavy 1 week light the next

    Was wondering is there any benifit to doing a heavy weight lifting program one week and then the next week doing light weights with lots of reps? Also Is there any benifit to alternating between 2 different programs week to week. eg. week 1 A week 2 B week 3 A week 4 B...

    Start heavy & go light? Or vice versa?

    Hi guys, For 3 years I trained light, then heavier, then heaviest. Eg. Bench 60kg/10 reps, 70kg/8 reps, 80kg/4 reps. Recently I flipped it: 80kg/6 reps, 70kg/8 reps., 60kg rep till fail. I find it much better as you are able to lift the heavy weight straight away as your muscles are not...
