Ok so back in my time as a lurker, found some threads on here regarding DAA with posts dated in 2010 and 2011, which got me to give this stuff a trial. Wanted to get a thread going to see what the current state of play is.
What I can add:
I tried pure DAA from BN, was hard to find any way to take the stuff without a rancid taste (although I never tried to 'scoop and shoot' it). Also comments on threads here and elsewhere went on about it solubility not being great in pure form. I began to see similarity to some creatine arguments on this front, but perhaps not a like for like comparison - people took to mixing it with bicarb soda. Anyway I didn't notice anything from this, though I probably didn't have enough for long enough.
I also looked at E-Pharm Testforce 2, which is the chelated version of DAA which supposedly increases the absorption and bioavailability significantly (75 fold). They also add Sarcosine.
I gave this a trial, and it wasn't bad to have on its own with water, although it was such a fine powder it likes to 'float around' as a cloud if you're not careful. I started to feel it have some effect towards the end of the tub... tub since gone, and now working out what to do next.
So.. does anyone have greater experience with DAA in general? For a natty, does it work, does the 'type' of DAA matter, and have you found it worthwhile? Buying in bulk can make it pretty cheap.
