Decline Bench Press, is it worth it?

There was an actual study done on incline , decline and flat bench press.

They used ecg machine where they hooked up electrodes to a persons chest and measure the electronic pulse the muscle produced when doing the different exercises.

the decline actually produced the best results .. only a decline of 15Degrees was enough to stimulate more muscle activity... Flat bench was actually the worst... and doing dumbbells was better that barbbell.

Not worth it, benching with a tight arch puts you in a pretty similar position and is safer and easier. If you fail decline bench without a spotter you're generally in a bit of trouble. And furthermore electro-thingy experiments have shown there to be no difference in activation between flat and decline... and there is no inner chest.

I didn't read any further after reading this, nice mate.
