Hormone replacement therapy, thoughts?

What amuses me is all these ****s at the low end of normal getting stroppy. Low end of the range is still in range LOL.

Fuck you're tired, lethargic, not holding gains as wells as you were in your 20's, getting fat easier. Welcome to fucking middle age, why the hell should the tax payer subsidise your steroids buy them off bikies like everyone else.

I agree. Low end normal is still normal. So were do you draw the line. Treat low normal now then what about mid range blokes who just miss out on low end of normal range.

Fuck I know I'm tired, can't be fucked doing some thing. A lot of it is just life.

Range really means fuck all. Its a number.

Im out of range for my BMI, should I lose some weight?

You need to treat the issue and the symptoms. A good doctor will know that.

No but you shouldn't be prescribed duromine either. Dr's aren't as dumb as people think same as they wouldn't precribe you weight loss drugs, they are reluctant to give healthy people hormone protocols.

Forums are fucking full of these tits, if they want on just go get on stop doctor shopping and milking fucking medicare.

You don't meet the parameter for clinical treatment you shouldn't get it. There needs to be some sort of control.

There is, problem is there are very few actual doctors (including endos) that give 2 shits to look any further than ranges.

Wow Brick im not sure exactly who thats aimed at but thats a bit harsh, im not going to complain and be a "tit" about it but having no sex drive at all and difficulty at work concentrating because im tired despite 8-9 hours solid sleep is really hard to deal with. I have a very critical job that is very dangerous and i need to be on my game at all times, this issue is affecting that so although i agree with you about being within range and its just a number etc. something is not right and all signs point to hormones.

I am yet to hear about many other blokes even in their 50`s that are presenting free testosterone numbers as low as 2 of my recent blood tests have shown, although this may be just a number i think there is a connection between the 2.

I will speak to my GP when i see him next and ask him if there is a chance of a 2nd opinion with an endo who specializes more with HRT/TRT than the one who he sent me to who really did not have much idea about HRT protocols nor did he care to discuss it. If i can speak to an endo who i know is a specialist in this field and he tells me that i dont need treatment i will be happy to hear it, unlike the majority of "tits" that probably do go chasing a legal prescription for test, i will be glad if they can somehow treat this or lead me in a direction that does not involve lifelong weekly injections... Im proud to have never used AAS to make any of the gains i have made, to even consider going and faking symptoms to try and get free test to cycle with instead of fixing an imbalance is insulting to be honest.

Nothing personal mate maybe your legit and if you are I hope you get treatment but my guess is 99% of the peeps that start these are just got it in their head they need test but really are just looking for excuses.

All good mate, i understand 100% your view, i agree with it myself. Its people like that who have made it very difficult to try and get a specialist to take me seriously because of the fact that i lift and am only 30 years old. My GP thankfully knows im legit because he is military like myself and knows any AAS use is an instant discharge for us and he knows how much my career means to me and i would not risk doing anything dodgy.

I will hear him out and see if this could be stress related but i honestly would be surprised if stress can cause such low numbers considering cortisol, prolactin and oestrogen numbers were well normal. Only numbers that are consistently out of place is LH, FSH, free test and total test which are all low or under range and SBHG which was high right on the upper limits.

I would have thought with normal cortisol and prolactin levels that it couldnt be stress related but maybe it is, will discuss it with my GP and see what his thoughts are.

HRT is a very good decision if your levels are low...it will change your entire life, especially if you have been walking around with low test for years... gwt those levels tested my man
