Its not just about knowing the research... You also have to go back and analyze the research to understand when studies have gone full retard... Something that max covered very well in tge threads here a while ago...

Nah that was the posters handle. He runs a consultancy on diet and nutrition now, don't think he was a formally trained nutritionist but fuck he knew his shit and had the research to back it plus was in epic shape for a guy that trained like twice a week I think it was.
Read some of his shit it's worth spending a few hours.
Although, I was merely suggesting that journal articles are more reliable than what you hear on TV =).
