Everyone here can share a smoothie recipe! ;)

Here's mine and I call it a Firecracker Smoothie! :)

Firecracker Smoothie
This is a great post cardio boost.

Home made almond milk
1/2 an organic Avocado
1 organic banana
1 small organic pear
2 big handfuls of organic kale
2 scoops of chocolate Sunwarrior® raw protein powder
1 tsp of mesquite powder
dash of cayenne pepper
dash of cinnamon and nutmeg

Pop it all in the Ladyship Organic Essence Extractor and blend away. Can add some ice and water if you like it a little thinner.

I call this my breakfast smoovie.

Carrot
Apple
Banana
Table spoon of vanilla ice cream
2 eggs
Ice cubes

Nothing special in taste but I can drink my breakfast. :)

Used to love "smoothies" "shakes" when I was bulking -

300-400ml milk
2 scoops protein
heaps of peanut butter
Choc sauce
ice

Then whatever else I felt like - oats, nuts, fruit etc etc

Morning Shake for me..

1 Banana
Either Frozen Mango or Berries
Almond Milk
Vanilla WPI
1 TBSP Chia Seeds

I'm a huge smoothie fan. It's a great way to get food into your gut on the run of for just a snack. On hard traning days I usually have one after a workout if I don't feel like eating a meal anytime soon. Here's a couple of mine...

250ml low fat milk
250ml cold water
big handful of ice cubes
1 banana
2eggs
1 - 2 scoops of protein powder (choc or vanilla works well)
OTIONAL: dash of honey and or crunchy peanut putter

250ml low fat milk
250ml cold water
big handful of ice cubes
1 cup frozen mixed berries or punnet of blueberries
1-2 scoops vanilla protein power
OPTIONAL: 1-2eggs

GENERAL NOTES:
Water to milk ratio is dependent on your calorie requirements.
For bulking, swap milk for ice cream.
Bananas starting to turn brown and not likely to be eaten can be chopped up and frozen. Then add to next smoothie and they freakin' rock.
A handful of oats is always a good idea to thicken it up and enhance the taste.
On really hot days, subbing the water for extra ice makes it super icy cold.
