Used to make my own bread, never used a bread maker, just make it and bake in oven tastes delicious, better than any bread you ever buy in a shop.
Hardly ever eat bread these days so have not made any for ages, was thinking of making a nice winter soup/stew one of these days and baking a loaf to have with it.

I will just deal with feeling bloated and a bit crook in the guts and not being able to sleep properly for a day or so, the taste sometimes is worth it, a bit like a hangover after a big night on the piss, having a feed of bread and dealing with the after affects reminds me why I don't eat it 98% of the time, just like a hang over reminds me why I should not be drinking in excess.
I find with home baked bread I actually know what is in it and it has no preservatives, as it does not need any, it does not usually hang around long enough when it comes out of the oven.
