great to watch Scott.

Average day for me but I still got a 5kg on squat and was relatively easy. 205kg and weighed in at 79.9kg.

Grippy; , Sticky; outstanding lifts fellas, it's almost unfathomable to me that you guys lift that much... Massive, massive congrats!!
jzpowahz; mate that's a hell of a squat for anyone weighing under 80kg again, outstanding... Congrats!!

Excellent lifting fellas!!

I got a pretty lame PB today, but will improve on this :)

Thanks guys. Finally stoked that I can move up to the 100's. I have no unfinished business in the 90's now :)

Congrats on the excellent performance and good luck in the 100's.

I wish I could roll those weights that you lift. :)

Holly shit there are some great lifts in this thread,

Scott finished in the 90's, is this just until someone beats your records, or are you just focused on heavier everything now?

Dicko 125kg bench is awsome, heaps better than most people.

JZ , liam, awsome squats I cant even imagine that weight anymore 120 seems to be my current max after nearly 12months off. :(

BUT today I did something i have been trying to do for nearly 2 years,

100kg full clean ass to grass and stand up, freakin stocked!!!

Well done man.

After worlds, Im done in the 90's.

Records will always be beaten, you would be silly to think you are teh strongest person that will ever be at a bodyweight.

I have hit elite, and thats all I really need.

Im now off to the 100's and aim to hit elite there, then aim for low 800's, then look for the 110's :)

Cant wait to see those vids in 12 months!
THanks kaz; and Sticky;

After my working sets for squats this arvo thought i'd have another crack at a new 1rm. Managed to put up 140kg, which i was pretty happy with to finally make a 2xBW squat. Wasn't ATG by any means but was still parrallel, although hopefully when I have fresh legs i'll be able to get some more depth.

Great work fellas.

Sticky man happy bday best of luck at worlds. Do aus proud.

Got a vid of that clean trofius? Man 100kg is an achievement at that bodyweight. I might go back to my measly 60kg and get more practice spice things up a bit.

I don't think you can practice cleans with such a small weight man
You'll just throw 60kg over your head, you need enough weight to be able to pull hard but catch it in a squat

Catching in the squat is a speed and confidence to get under the bar thing... Doing some sets with that weight will help the speed/pull and extension, i can't see him throwing it over his head... but just for a few sets, not every set everyday

Sure oni. I love seeing guys do reverse curls as cleans.

I think the point is you should be using enough weight that it's impossible to even try and reverse curl it. Anything under 100kg for me I am just pulling it and catching it on my shoulders. I can probably power clean far above my best front squat lol. Let alone full clean

60kg I can snatch with a clean grip and no pressout, I have no idea how you'd be able to practice clean technique with this weight because as soon as you jump the weight would just fly far above where you need to catch it. Especially as SE says, getting under the bar is pretty much the entire shiteree

nice powercleaning! you've clearly improved from the video I saw of you:)

I do some nights at a goodlife gym, Ive heard a PT say that's its a real "arm builder"

edit- If there is a tendency to engage the arms, going heavier wont help, he will naturally engage them more so.. its all about the extension, over and over and over and over!!
If the Max is 80, then TBH 60-70 is probably the number to work with for triples, plus doing some clean pulls as an assistance
