Advice on Oly lifting set-up / storing equip. outdoors - rust?

If you have it/can get it in writing that they will honour the warranty despite the equipment being kept outdoors, that lifetime warranty on the barbell could come in handy. It's also a nice bar, I have the bearing one. You can likely build a 3x3 platform out of ply for cheaper than those mats, to

    idea of drug tested gyms

I prefer the IPF ruleset (PA in Australia) but am seriously considering competing with GPC as I believe they have the best interests of lifters in mind and are promoting the sport well.

    idea of drug tested gyms

Spartacus I have yet to see you cover the benefits to the public/society from such policies yet - only you dodging the question because you would apparently piss people off. Without this information you are pretty much trolling, I would very much appreciate you actually participating instead of...

Ronin Barbell Club (Baulkham Hills, Sydney)

Lots, we ordered 2x matrix single stations + accessories + needed the racks cut down. The pendlay bumpers were also $$, but I feel quality gear is always worth it.

Spose I'll also use this page to post a few updates. Still only myself and Deb (my partner) using Ronin Barbell at this point. I'm programming for Jono and Ariel at PTC Sydney as well as Deb and I. Ariel is only in week two or three of her program at the moment. Jono's previous raw squat 1RM...

It is indeed. We had them cut down (to 230cm) to fit.

Ronin Barbell Club (Baulkham Hills, Sydney)

Hi everyone, Having outfitted the garage into a pretty sweet home gym, I've decided to offer coaching/programming services via a barbell club. What is Ronin Barbell Club? Ronin Barbell Club was started to provide a supportive and hardworking atmosphere for those chasing down their strength...

    365 Strong

I agree with Brandon in terms of, I train to be strong in general/all the time - not for a specific date. When competing though, you need to do everything you can to make sure that on the day you're at your best. In terms of the new book 365 Strong, I don't feel it has much different...

    Flat bench 30cm+ wide

The combo at PTC Syd has actually been re-upholstered recently, it's got a lot of cushion but the new material is really grippy so it's still nice to bench on. But yes, firm and grippy is good :D PM where you want the $$ and how much

    Flat bench 30cm+ wide

The best way I could describe it would be like a firm latex matress, lol The benches you made for PTC Syd I find very squishy (not sure if it's because they're new but I find the material very slippery to), I tend to use either the Pro Power (which is still softer than I'd like) or the old...

    Flat bench 30cm+ wide

If it could be done for 600 or less (inc shipping) I'd be open to it

    Flat bench 30cm+ wide

How much would two benches cost? 30cm wide, 45cm tall, 1.2m? long with firm grippy pad The force usa ones are ~530 for two to my door, but I don't remember liking the pad on the force benches we had at PTC Syd.

BENT AFTER 2 MONTHS! Force USA Commercial Grade Olympic Power Bar (1500lb)

I've bailed out on a 230 and 250 squat with two different ABC power bars. The 230 landed on ironedge slings, still straight. The 250 landed on solid safety bars, still straight. Neither were soft drops as I always forget to just sit back down onto safeties, I dump it from about 3/4 of the way...

    Flat bench 30cm+ wide

Howdy, Just wondering if there are any new options on the market for a 30cm (or more) wide flat bench. I'm looking at the Force USA currently (Force USA Commercial Flat Bench | Strength Equipment) as suggested in a previous thread. Waiting to hear back re: shipping from GetStrength (HT Heavy...

    Buying new Bumper Plates

While I haven't had them for long I've been happy with the Pendlay Elites, and would recommend MuscleDriver - A+ service

    Benching

Personally, I press out every single unrack. Trying to pull the bar out with my lats I prob wouldn't be able to unrack 100kg. It's never felt natural/right. I just set the pin height so that it's a small press and take it out.

ASFID Super FID bench weight capacity/width

I've had the ironmaster super bench for years and it's served me well... if you're open to other options. I didn't want a bench with a gap in the pad. It's only 25cm wide and quite high, but I've benched 160 on it (weighing just under 110) with no issues. Ironmaster Super Bench
