Just a friendly reminder that unless you're lifting heavy 5 days of the week, you have no business having a light day and that you're a pussy for doing so.

Just finished a course of DNP and holding a fair bit of subQ water. I'm heading overseas in about two weeks and would like to get rid of this excess water (i usually hold a little around the stomach). Would it be beneficial to do keto for a week or two purely to get rid of the water??
Cheers

I want to start drop sets been reading about it i know you should only do it randomly to shock your muscles, I'm thinking of doing it for a month, then stop the drop set but still do the same routine for a month then add drop set again and so on.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated and...
'Necrobumping', for those who aren't aware, is the art of resurrecting threads that have slipped off the front page of their forum and into the catacombs of pages 2-10, usually never to be seen again by all but the bravest of forum adventurers in their search for a missing post or to find a...

I was checking out Tyrone's log today (it looks even more impressive in the morning light, but that's another story). I noticed he mentioned Pavel's Ladder rep method for pullups.
I've noticed in the past a couple of guys journals with these weird rep schemes I couldn't understand for pullups -...
There has been quite a bit of discussion on drop deads on my brothers FB profile so I thought I'd extend the conversation to here.
If anyone doesn't know what a drop dead is:
YouTube - Muscle Pit - Drop Deads (Deadlifts)
I included drop deads in my routine for 4 weeks, to prepare for the...
So yeah, got a mate at work who is looking to drop 15kg. Spent ages writing him up a program to follow working out his BMR etc which he was keen as to follow. Then apparently he went out to dinner with his missus who basically said everything i had written there was crap, and that because he is...
So you think you’re done with your set yeh? I’ve said it before, there is no such thing as a true muscular failure, except when we die that is. Only then your muscles and mine won’t contract, but until that moment arrives, drop sets is where it’s at for anyone looking to sky rocket their workout...
i wanted to hear thoughts on either dropping the weight (bumper plates) or lowering the weight with your body in a sorta romanian deadlift.
which is better?
with dropping the weight you are saving energy that can be used to do another clean or heavier weights
with the lowering approach you...

Here is a great strength standard chart a powerlifter I work with posted on another forum. I thought this forum might like it.

It's compiled by very highly regarded strength coaches and I personally think it is a very good indicator or...

Hi,
This is a leg routine I created to build my upper legs. I have been reading in M&F about the amount of sets and intensity for growth and based on my understanding I devised this routine that I try to do twice a week.
I am limited in that I can only squat what I can clean and jerk as I...
