Great night at coogee Beach 9pm fireworks. Both kids loved it. I'm not a huge fan of fireworks but I have to admit they were pretty impressive.
 
Good relaxing swim today with the family at the beach. The cold water woke me up a little as the kids don't know the meaning of sleeping in just yet.
Yesterday morning
5x10 chins
5x5 DL working up to 152kg in last set

Tough tough session today
10 long swims and runs. 630am start was nice, so not many people about.
Shoes got heavy which in turn made the legs heavy lol
Got the laps done, in the pain cave right now.
 
Arms yesterday.

Superset of

Tricep pushdowns x 15
BB curls x 15
Tricep dips x 15
EZ bar reverse curls x 15

Three sets of that.
Then

Skull crushers x 15
Into
Seated DB curls x 20

Two of that

Then one massive superset of
Tricep pushdowns x 15
BB curls x 15
Tricep dips x 15
EZ bar reverse curls x 15
Skull crushers x 15
Seated DB curls x 20

Then 4 x 1min planks

Rest day today, will get a massage later. Meeting a strength & cond coach tomorrow to check my form on a few lifts. I don't think I need to put his resumè on here, but I wouldn't be going to see some spastic, that's for sure. He comes highly recommended from a few mates still playing superXV.
It'll be interesting to see his take on my form/strength etc.
 
DL's and accessory work with a s&c coach today.
Worked on my takeoff plus my warm up and warm down stuff.
Shins torn to shreds, learnt heaps tho. Was good
 
Good sesh last night. Was a little stuffed from the DL masterclass tho.

Followed by 2x12 sldl
2x12 falling hamstring curls?? Not sure what their official name is!?!

Edit: Nordic hamcurl is what he called them!

Followed all my cues from the session yesterday and felt tighter and in more control. Especially on take off and in the negative. Got up to 5x162kg in that last set.

Legs feel tired but ok. Run swim run will be interesting tomorrow lol.

they have me doing banded crab walks to help with my knee tendonitis recovery at the moment. Its the first time I had done or even heard of them. I couldn't believe how much they burn!
 
Last night. Had to drag myself outside after a massive day at work.

6 sets of

400m run
BW bench (97kg) x max
Max pull-ups
Calf raise x 45

Then I tried out my new fat-gripz. Not bad. Just did a few chins and will put them into a proper routine tonight.

Lost a few kgs in sweat today at work. I was sweating like the ballsack of a bigger loser contestant. Pulling in mains cables outside in this heat. The fat apprentice loved it.
