I have to be able to run 2.4kms in 12 minutes in order to to pass basic training in the Defence Force. I only just got my gym membership last week so am currently going to the gym everyday and doing an hours worth of cardio work to improve my fitness.

MY BMR is 1929 Calories/day. If i lift 3 days a week and do cardio 5 days a week what should be a cal rate per day wit ha deficit of 200-300?
But if i dont eat on a deficit since im lifting and doing cardio that means on the off days im eating over maintenance.
