8 week transformation challenge - how to succeed?

Displays of strength and hard training are impressive and inspiring to watch.

Definitely! I admire figure competitors too, or impressive runners (eg. the top runners of the 14km C2S do it in about 41 mins... that's crazy!), or gymnasts, or any athletes of any kind. Except maybe synchronised swimming - now that's just silly :)

Oh hell yeah.

A while back I was discussing with my woman, we decided that just as the Winter and Summer Olympics are each four years apart, but alternating, so should the Commonwealth games be mixed in, so we'd have some big international competitions every year.

"That leaves a year free in every four."
"We need another Olympics."
"We could have the Bullshit Olympics, all the Olympic events that shouldn't really be Olympic events, like synchronised swimming and ping pong."

Nothing. Same as darts, lawn bowls, quoits, synchronised swimming and the rest.

But come on, we have to draw the line somewhere... The Olympics are meant to be athletic...

I'm not sure they are MEANT to be athletic. Shooting, archery etc arent athletic, but they do require a fair ammount of skill.

Its an interesting topic, and not one that everyone is going to agree with.

How about, if you can do it with your wallet in your back pocket, its not a sport lol

Wait for the golfers to fire up lol
