^ This! Get a proper belt & it will help protect your back & may even add a little bit of weight to your deadlift.Those belts are pretty useless imo
yeah ill stay off the belt, get my hips right first if anything.
After doing some doorbell squats i can defiantly feel my hips tightening up when i hit parrellel, it hurts to keep it there lol. My lower back rounds.
Iforgot to add your aim is to improve your depth, so squat deep and stay there as long as you can, do reps every time you pass a door.
