Jesus, we suck at MMA. That's the best non-pro fighters we could come up with, in the whole country? Well, fuck. It's embarrassing.
Is it because we haven't been training MMA (as a country) for very long? Geographical isolation (from the "heartlands" of MMA) ? Too small a population pool to successfully draw from? Still not very popular here as a sport (personally, I would assume it is...) ? A lacking foundation in wrestling and strength training among our young, and Australians in general for the most part?
Lol. What are you smoking. It was as clear cut as they come. Even lawler knew the result at the end of the 5th.
Hendricks clear winner 1 & 2. Lawler clear winner 3 & 4. Hendricks clearly won 5 and Lawler knew it when he got taken down with 30 seconds to go and was shitty and shaking his head.
There was really zero speculation of who won each round.
Overall the fight was very close, with Hendricks almost being finished in the middle rounds. But each round was very clear cut. I can't see how there is any way Hendricks didn't win rounds 1,2 and 5.
Watched the fight again and at the end when the decision was announced Lawler even nodded in agreement and It was a unanimous decision. If that doesn't show it was clear cut I don't know what does.
Dana then said it was 2 and 2 going into the last and then Johnny won the last.
