CCM Quest 2013

What's that, about a 12% increase in your bench in < 1yr? Wish I could do that. Congrats.

I have been working so hard on my bench for the past 6 months.
Had a set back obviously in August/Sept but since have made up for lost ground.

Lots of benching and lots of assistance stuff paid off this time.

Really want to better that although fully expect that gains now will be harder to come by :p

Hoping for a good result on my deadlift 1 RM testing next Monday (have to defer it until then due to my QL strain).

... *looks at highly respectable numbers, notes in passing that the GPC record books are empty for <48kg female masters lifters*...

thanks bert.; :)

actually Zoot; the record books are rather spectacular in my weight class (although I'd be in Masters, with all the other walking frame athletes lol)

Yolandie Weir's records are huge. 80kg bench at 47.5kg ... that gal is scary.

she also has a 150kg DL ... she must be stopped :p

Arr, don't worry about the weight classes, celebrate Masters I reckon. Let's see how those gals are going when they emerge from their 30's, weighed down with kids, careers, marriages, etc.

I'm happy to have a big fence between me and the young bucks. Can't compete with 'em but it's good fun competing alongside 'em.

well, yes, I must say I do agree with you totally!!

But I don't compete. Not now, not ever.

I'm just happy doing it for me ... getting stronger and better as I go!

Plus shiiite scared of letting down my coach and now fully motivated by the promise of pastry :D

ate shiiiite loads over recent days and dropped 500g in weight.

ah the mysteries of human physiology.

must take after my beloved dad ... all the carbs can't make me fat ever

I'm having a low carb day .. around 150g ... :D

need to carb up in case I can do my 1RM on Thursday (bet they won't let me)

so I do it all over again on the weekend for Monday.

it's tough, I tells ya .... :D:D:D
