Ok so I've watched about a billion Youtube videos now over the last year during Covid on everything to do with body building you name it.
I've tried a few different training styles and ideas now related to these different ways of training but still want to know so much more.
Trying to grow quads with squats and leg extensions. Squat routine is going great but leg extensions suck. I’m currently doing 8 working sets of 9 reps at 40 Kg for leg extensions but seem to have plateaued. Should I go heavier for less sets and reps or back off weight and up reps and sets?
I know the principle of overload when applied to compound exercises involving the large muscle groups but does it still apply to the same extent for isolation exercises? I would have thought that there must be a limit to how much small muscles can grow so overload becomes ineffective after...
Yep, lets get it out of the way first - I'm a fat bastard, I hate it, and I've been trying to change that for years with varying degrees of success, but in 18 days I'm under the knife for a VSG alongside my wife, who is having a similar procedure done the same day. Full disclosure, I'm working...

I have been using HGH on and off since Sep 2019. When I started on HGH i had a very good feeling of good mood and also got skinnier and leaner which I always wanted. My 2nd cycle of HGH was from another supplier but I did not experience the positve mental effects and energy like my 1st...

What is the HPTA?
HPTA stands for Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Testicular Axis. A link between 3 glands/clusters that results in testosterone and sperm production.
This refers to the Hypothalamus. This is a small cluster in the brain that links your central nervous system to the...
I've been doing some research on HGH, as I'm getting on a bit and keen to try it for a number of reasons.
However I've recently had a Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) cut out. From my research I know there is some risk around increased growth rates of cancer and HGH, but given BCC's are slow growing...
basal cell carcinoma
Below article is not mine, not written by me and I have no particular opinion about it. Just posting for general info.
POWERLIFTING AUSTRALIA AND THE IPF
You may be aware that just recently the Luxemburg Civil Court ruled predominantly in favour of Powerlifting Australia, the...
My first run on HGH and got my labs back after 10 days or so, but it's very confusing to work out how efficacious my gear is with all the conversion methods/units between different countries and discrepancies between articles publishing 'normal ranges'.
To give context this test was...
I know its not respected when guys only train certain parts. But really, these are the parts that need to catch up so I was wondering your guys' thoughts on this
All that seems to grow is my back and delts. Maybe if I wasn't training them the rest of my body would improve
don't know what to do any more my upper back is so fucked up with my thoracic nerve. no muscle has ever grown there no matter what exercise and can't really do any upper body exercises.
my lower body is overgrown and holds all the fat.
"In conclusion, training a muscle 5x per week led to substantially greater muscle growth than training a muscle once or twice per week. Training a muscle at least twice per week is probably also beneficial for strength development."...
Nearly half of all the water used in the U.S. goes to raising animals for food. It takes more than 2,400 gallons of water to produce just 1 pound of meat, but it takes just 25 gallons to grow 1 pound of wheat. You save more water by not eating a pound of meat than you do by not showering for six...
