How many kgs do you need?
I looked at that link, the first package says 155kg but there's only 135kg's when you click on it and it totals $740. Will be more if you bump it up to 155kg like the link says.

Forum sponsors have some good specials on packages atm.

197kg for $569

Pretty sure you get another 5% off here with the ausbb code.

200kg for $650
http://www.gymdirect.com.au/shop/weights-bars-dumbbells/weights/olympic-size-rubber-coated/

Can use their code if you just wanted to get individual/pairs of plates for 10% off.

Freight can be a bit of a killer though so add that in.Otherwise have you tried cleaning yours up?

Great, thanks for that. Yeah, the problem with mine is the rubber just wears off. They came as a package with the rack and barbell (I purchased it all 2nd hand off Gumtree). Needless to say, the bar was rubbish but the rack is ok after I got some AlphaFit custom J hooks made up for it.

Any reason why old school cast plates without coating would not do? They make a nice jangly sound when you walk out of the rack.

I actually love the look (and sound) of the old school cast iron plates (and I did have a couple of 20kg ones previously) but working out at home means I need to be as quiet as possible as my gym is underneath our old Queenslander with the gaps in the floors etc.
