To follow on from my thread on diet / nutrition, here are my thoughts on training and workouts. As with my other thread, it is somewhat scatterbrained, I hope you can follow it and find it useful and or interesting. Most of the information here is geared more towards people aiming to get as...

Over the years I have tried many different dieting styles and many different philosophies towards nutrition. What follows are...

I was thinking about barbell exercises.
When a boxer throws the killer punch, he instinctively stands shoulder width distance with dominant foot forward, arm at a 90 degree angle, fist clenched and torso slightly twisted.
The power starts at the feet builds up in the legs and hip, torso bent...
What are peoples thoughts on Mike Mentzers ideas behind nutrition...
Diet has always been as important, if not more, as weight-training for bodybuilders. However, in his book Heavy Duty Nutrition, Mentzer demonstrated that nutrition for athletes did not need to be nearly as extreme as the...
Hello everyone,
I’ve been attending the gym for the past 3 years but have not been consistent. I’m now determined to take things seriously and hoping to see dramatic gains.
I have started a plan which seems to be working rather well but wanted to get some opinions.
Its 2 workout programs...
Just wondering what your thoughts are on the type of training to give the best results. Heavier weights with less reps or more reps with lighter weights? I had friends who were given gym programs where there were about 20 reps per set yet when I used to train years ago we did heavier weights...

I have a mate who...

First off, I know a lot you disagree with his videos and antics, who cares about all that.
His physique was impressive, is it possible for an ectomorph to get it naturally? I personally don't think he's 'big', but it would be awesome to have that physique none the less. I guess his body fat was...
In my own opinion i believe c&P to be on par with the likes of the squat and deadlift, and would use it before benching if i had to choose.
Simply for the majority of muscles it requires.
But anyone else have any thoughts on it?
Gonna try this, had a mate help me out writing up. plan is to run this for as long as i can, diet discipline my biggest weakness as none of my friends are even remotely interested in training and weekends are always a fail as somethings always on and meals are often missed.
ive done 3 days so...

I did lose weight considerable quicky and the muscle fell with it.
I ended up with a smaller version of my build but gotten a bit saggy lol.
So I decided to read up on nutrition (ended...
