What is the lowest weekly deficit you have cut on?

hey I am not boring: sport, current affairs, porn, occasional root, nature shows.

What more can I do and watch.

Relax mate. Your a non drinker who likes to tell us all pretty often that drinkers are stupid. Don't be surprised when people bite back. Your not special because you don't drink either.

Delusions of grandeur. Lol. Mate I'm an average joe who likes lifting weights and isn't that strong. I've said that plenty of times.

Not to be rude but how are you in any position to then give advice about dieting, training etc to people who want to become, strong/er, bigger, faster, fitter etc? How can you sit there and talk shit all the time about "bro-science" when have have not even achieved maybe your own goals?

To say someone is soft because they dont drink is just stupid - you will find alot of people drink due to being around other people that drink - not always because they want to - having the self-control and self-respect to do what you want and stick to a goal sounds like more than you have ever done.

I am not trying to be a dick or be rude but you go on about all this shit about how you can drink, eat what you want etc etc etc - yea you can but if your serious about your goals it wont get you anywhere fast.

It was a light harted joke about being soft for not drinking.

You keep talking about achieving your goals. We are not talking about pro athletes here. Most on these boards just want to look better and get a bit stronger. Then you have people here saying they need to stop drinking, no carbs, eat 10 meals a day, buy a heap of bullshit supps, down 5kg of chicken wings and lard. Its fucking ridiculous.

How do you know what my goals are and what I have achieved?

Show me where I have EVER said you can eat what you want. Don't make shit up. I have always said the opposite. I definitely can't eat what I want. I would love too.

And people here follow what the pros do and their greatest achievement will be a few selfies on a bodybuilding forum.

If you are a pro athlete you won't be on a bodybuilding forum getting advise. Lol.

I guess that just splits the strong from the weak...

How does it split the strong from the weak??

You go on about what the pros do. Well who is a pro that needs pro advise here and who here is able to give pro quality advise.

If someone is a pro or a pro quality coach they are not going to be asking for advise here. Lol.

When have I ever spoken about what the pros do and told people to do what they do? I have stated what athletes do - ranging from general to pro level - I have stated that there is a common thread between what succesful athletes do and what people should be doing if they want to be successful...

I have never sat here though and been like shit Jay Cutler has 15 rice cakes after training I gotta do that...

You take basic priciples of succesful people and adapt them to what you do...of course tweaking to fit into your own goals and ideas.

You miss the point bazza - some of us want to achieve or goals, some of us want to be better than other people, some of us want to be successful in what we do - and to do this you go the extra mile....you dont do what everyother joe does...if you do that then you will be like everyother joe....not that theres a problem with that but if thats how you want to do things then sit on the forum and go for the ride and be social - dont come out like your acting like you know everything when your goal is to be an avg joe who likes to lift sometimes....

Read my post. I didn't say my goal is to be an average joe. You have no friggin idea of my goals.

Going the extra mile only works if you go the extra mile on stuff that is productive. Some may like to go the extra mile on fluff. I prefer to put my effort into shit that is productive.

Consulted with a physique competitor friend, after my meet I'll be doing BB contest style dieting.
1500kcal max, 300g of protein a day and zero carbs. I have meds on hand this time in case my thyroid shits itself again. Doc prescribed me some T3 and 5-HTP and I bought some tyrosine. I won't be taking the T3, it's just in case my body stops producing it like it did before but with the 5-HTP and tyrosine I should be OK

My testosterone levels will be fucking shot though lol

My diet before was to lean out and fill up my weight class and get stronger for my december meet which I did! Now it's time to focus on getting to 6% in time for my next meet

How long will you stay on the zero carbs for? Won't you feel flat and deflated?
Cheers

I've been low carbing since around the 19th of September with good results. I carbed up once a week. I find ephedrine makes me flat, but not no carbs. I'll still work in carb refeeds though. But after the 13th, my next one will most likely be christmas to minimise fat loss. Then I like to carb up at the weekends for social reasons and christmas is on a wednesday so it will be a similar amount of time again before my next one, the sunday after that maybe the 5th Jan

I don't know much about this, that's why I am asking as I have started watching my carb intake.
What do you call a low carb day? And when you have a carb load up day how many carbs would you have?
Is this something similar to what bodybuilders do leading up to a comp? Low carb days then carb up the day before a comp?
Cheers

Low carb for me is less than 30g a day
If you're interesting in strength, keep fats high. If you just simply want to shred keep fats as low as possible, just enough omega6/3 to stay healthy

Bodybuilders will carb up 2 days before pre-judging, cut sodium the week of the meet and take diuretics and potassium load the day before pre judging. Pre judging is where most of the decisions are made but they still look great for the show the day after

Powerlifting is different because you need performance. You carb up after the weigh in. If you do a same day weigh in then you won't need to carb up but only if you're truly keto adapted. You can carb up for the bloat but are kidding yourself if you think you can replenish glycogen that fast lol. Even with insulin administration
