It's such a daunting task it's hard to get motivated to do it!
It's a GREAT feeling once you've done them though! Well...maybe 5min after you've done then when you've had a chance to recover
When I manage 100 before collapsing in a heaving heap I will post my time! So far I'm, up to 70 until I have nothing left in the tank. I'm slowly improving though.

I hope you're not doing them all in one go JaseFit. Do do them but in lots of whatever will get you to finish the 100. Some people do them in lots of 10. That's 10x10 with a certain amount of time to rest in between. All the best.
PS: After you get the 100, I will change your name to FitJase!
Funny you mention your heart jumping through your chest Stralian. I actually heard my heart beat very clearly when I did my 100. It was like a beating drum!

I think I will regret saying this but...I accept your burpee duel!
I tried to beat your 60 second record yesterday and only got 16! I think you will have that crown for a long time to come
Do the burpees fit into your weightlifting training?
Another great question from the great man himself. Others (coaches) may disagree but I say yes; a cardiovascular type exercise would be most beneficial to keep one's fitness level high and to help the lifter recover better after some gruelling weightlifting sessions.
When at the AIS back in the early 80s, we only did fitness work for about 4-6 weeks and only after the Christmass break. Having said that, I'd modify the burpees and would do it for only 50 reps twice a week so as to maintain the level of fitness one has aquired earlier on.
